We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing exceptional orthodontic care and creating beautiful, confident smiles. As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, developing personalized treatment plans, and effectively communicating with patients throughout their orthodontic journey. Job responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive orthodontic examinations and assessments.
  • Develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Administer orthodontic treatments, including installing braces (metal or clear) and aligners (e.g., Invisalign).
  • Regularly monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment as required.
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and care during orthodontic treatment.
  • Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists for interdisciplinary patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontics through continuing education.
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
  • Valid state dental license.
  • Board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics (preferred but not mandatory).
  • X-ray certification (if required in the state of practice).
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using dental software for record-keeping and treatment planning.
